After a long day of being outside, unanimously everyone agrees they need a good cup of coffee,  maybe a doughnut, a cold beer, some hot chocolate or the perfect meal. But many of us aren’t sure where the best places are! So, I’ve asked around and here are the most highly recommended post-adventure coffee shops/cafes and bakeries. On this list you’ll find restaurants with plentiful gluten-free options, fair trade coffee, locally grown ingredients and always a great atmosphere.

What if we started planning our adventures around where we’ll be celebrating afterwards? With this list, that’ll be happening for sure.

Smokey Point Bakery Cafe “Since January 2011 we have been offering up a delicious selection of scratch-made baked goods, soups, salads and sandwiches, as well as great tasting locally roasted coffee and espresso beverages. On the bakery side of things we we offer our handcrafted artisan breads of the practical sort (great for sandwiches), croissants, cinnamon Rolls, and an ever growing variety of pastries, quiches, tarts, seasonal pies, muffins and cookies. We offer simple and delicious cakes to order with advance notice (no character cakes). We like to think that if it can be baked, we can make it, deliciously. On the savory side of things we offer a growing selection of handcrafted soups, salads, sandwiches, and quiches. Our savory items often include varieties that are gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and\or vegan.
